Curators
Since then, she frequently curates national and international exhibitions
and projects. As a curator and gallerist Mrs. Bean promotes young contemporary art, emphasizing on exhibitions and projects with specific themes or working titles.
For her, the close collaboration with international artists is important and necessary to develop themes in cooperation. Often, and ideally, a reciprocal inspiration among the artists and the curator is a result .
lyrical input to several of the projects. In 2005 Matthias Bergemann got to know Janine Bean and decided to vary his work to join the janinebeangallery as a director. This was the result of the urge to fathom
the roots of the artistic expression he had dealt with before. Aside from this work for the gallery, Matthias started to cooperate with Janine Bean in curating exhibitions.
